We’ve done them all and will be happy to help guide you through the process of slelecting that perfect custom wrap.

Having Rehab Detailing install a color change vinyl wrap on your car will cost significantly less than a paint job and you always have the option to revert back to your original paint if needed. There is really only one down side to vinyl wrapping... choosing a color!

Beyond the Color

The benefits of wrapping your Exotic, Luxury car, SUV or daily driver goes way beyond just getting a new color. For starters, some of the colors and styles of vinyl wrap are costly or even impossible to duplicate with paint. Matte finishes, Chrome, Holographic and Iridescent are some of the really unique styles that are available. High-end vehicles like exotic cars and rare cars will diminish in value if the vehicle is repainted. Vinyl Wrap allows you to change the color without removing or damaging the original factory paint, not only preserving the value, but protecting the paint in the process!

Cost Vs Benefit

Most people ask how the cost for vinyl wrap compares to a paint job. The short answer is that it is about a third of the price. A new same-color paint job will usually cost around $5,000 - $7,000. A color Change Paint Job is usually around $7,000 - $10,000. If you are considering a Matte, Pearl or Chameleon paint job, the cost will likely go over $10,000. Besides the initial cost of a custom paint job, Matte, Pearl and Chameleon paint jobs are impossible to “touch up” from basic damage. So there is a huge advantage to wrap as the cost to re-wrap a panel would be significantly less then respraying a large portion of the vehicle.

Cons to Vinyl Wrap

Vinyl wrap is super fun and a great alternative to paint, but there are some extra measures of care needed to maintain the finish. For starters, having us coat the vinyl with 1-2 layers of Ceramic Glass Coating will help repel contaminants and resist sun damage, as well as help keep the surface clean and looking its best. Vinyl wrap normally lasts about 3 years depending on how its maintianed. Ceramic Glass will greatly extend its usable life. We strongly recommend avoiding using automatic car washes. Touchless washes are a little better, but proper hand washing is still the best way to maintain the integrity and the best looking finish.
